About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required.

License : Must hold valid state nursing license.

Certifications : BLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN required.

Must-Have : Candidates must hold a CEFM or register for C-EFM during the compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignment.

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery.

The ratio is 1 : 1 for patient care.

Charge and preceptor experience are required.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Candidates must have experience circulating for C-sections.

Experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and couplet care is essential.

Triage experience is preferred.

Proficiency in sterile vaginal exams is preferred.

Baby Friendly hospital experience is highly preferred.

Employees are required to have the flu vaccine, with no exemptions allowed.

This facility is Magnet Certified.

Employees may be floated to postpartum, couplet care, or feeder / grower assignments in the Level II NICU.

Weekends are required every other weekend.

Candidates may need to take modules, which are billable up to four hours.

No time off is allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Please ensure to submit no more than seven days of requested time off for the entire contract.

References are required from two supervisors.
