Job description

At Doral Health & Wellness , we are committed to providing integrated, interdisciplinary health services to the Brooklyn, New York community. Our innovative medical facility is dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients, and we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our team!

Responsibilities :

Perform and record blood testing results in patients’ homes, including but not limited to height and weight.
Blood testing, including finger stick and / or venipuncture blood draws.
Candidates with proven experience in venipuncture blood draws will be required to perform these in a fast-paced environment during screening events, if needed.
Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing.
Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions in accordance with department and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.

Experience processing samples.

Certification from a national agency such as American Medical Technologists (AMT) , American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) , or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) .

Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Must have a vehicle to travel to patients' homes.

Able to pass a standard background check.

Compensation :

Pay rate : $25 per hour .
