Refrigeration Engineer

Overview

Gray AES is seeking to add a Refrigeration Engineer to its team, with the position based in one of our offices located in Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, Cincinnati, OH, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Lexington, KY or Louisville, KY.

Who We Want… (Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• 3+ years of experience in refrigeration design; preference for food and beverage processing facilities and cold storage.
• Basic understanding of discipline-specific codes and standards, such as IMC, IIAR, ASHRAE, and NFPA.
• Strong interest in refrigeration systems and building mechanical design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit; willingness to learn BIM workflows and load calculation tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and demonstrate professional integrity.
• Eager to grow professionally and contribute to multidisciplinary coordination efforts.
