Senior Quality Engineer

Position Summary The Senior Quality Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing inspection processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring every product meets or exceeds customer expectations. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for process optimization. Responsibilities Lead inspection and testing of production parts and services Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory standards (AS9100D) Prepare and manage inspection documentation for conformance and shipment Organize inspection workflows to meet delivery deadlines Train and guide inspection personnel on tools, gauges, and methodologies Track and validate inspection checkpoints throughout production Contain and evaluate non-conforming products; lead customer reviews for deviations Support root-cause investigations and corrective / preventive actions Develop and execute annual continuous improvement goals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or quality management 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience with leadership responsibilities Strong communication and team leadership skills Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards Proficiency in inspection tools, statistical analysis, and quality software Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lead Auditor preferred Detail-oriented mindset with a drive for process optimization What You’ll Get 10 Paid Holidays Service-Based PTO Gainsharing program Exciting, fast-paced environment On-site fitness center and medical clinic Weekly pay Performance-based merit raises Climate-controlled environment Free employee coffee About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that’s partnered with some of the largest names in the aerospace, manufacturing, defense, and industrial industries.
