JOB SUMMARY
As the Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for NetApp, you will lead a high-impact team responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our solutions architecture function across North America. This role is pivotal in driving technical excellence, enabling growth, and ensuring alignment between customer needs, field engagement, and NetApp's strategic priorities
What You'll Do :
Develop and Own the Vision & Strategy for the Solutions Architecture team, ensuring alignment with NetApp's business objectives and customer transformation goals.
Partner with Sales Leadership and SE Segment Leaders to support and accelerate solutions growth across North America, driving consistency and innovation in technical engagement.
Collaborate with Field Marketing and Regional SE Leaders to generate demand for NetApp solutions through targeted campaigns, events, and enablement programs.
Build and Empower a Mentorship Culture by developing a team that actively mentors and enables Field SEs and partners, fostering technical depth, consultative selling skills, and a customer-first mindset.
Engage Directly with Strategic Customers and Partners, representing the technical voice of the region and influencing key deals and relationships.
Drive Operational Excellence through disciplined forecasting, pipeline visibility, and alignment with sales execution.
Advocate for Customer Needs by collaborating with internal product, engineering, and customer success teams to influence roadmap direction.
Foster a Culture of Enablement, ensuring teams are trained, certified, and equipped to lead with value across NetApp's hybrid cloud, storage, and data management solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
12+ years of experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or solution architecture within enterprise technology.
5+ years of leadership experience, including building and scaling high-performing technical teams
Proven success in developing and executing technical strategies that drive business growth.
Experience collaborating with Sales Leadership, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and demand generation.
Strong track record in forecast accuracy, pipeline discipline, and quota alignment in partnership with sales leadership.
Deep understanding of data infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise IT architectures (NetApp experience a plus).
Willingness to travel regularly across North America to meet customers, partners, and field teams.
Compensation :
The target salary range for this position is 352,750 - 456,500 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and / or restricted stocks (RSU's). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
