The Role at a Glance
As our Project Engineer, you will provide critical support to the project team in scheduling, documentation, quality assurance, safety, and coordination. Working primarily on-site, you'll collaborate with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and Superintendent to ensure seamless project execution from start-up to closeout.In this key role, you'll need exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your ability to manage project documentation, communicate effectively, and support safety and quality initiatives will be instrumental in maintaining project efficiency and fostering strong relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors.
How You'll Drive Results
Essential Functions
You must be able to twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and climb stairs and ladders occasionally, with the ability to walk on uneven ground while navigating active construction sites. Depth perception is required to avoid excavations and other hazards, and the ability to hear warning sounds such as horns and sirens from moving equipment is essential for safety. The role involves standing for extended periods, up to seven hours of an eight-hour shift, and the occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
