Schedule / Availability Requirements :

Urgent Coverage Dates :

  • September 10 (7a) - September 29 (12p)
  • Ongoing dates will be needed, focusing on urgent coverage through September.

Shift Details :

  • Mon-Sun : 24-hour STEMI call
  • Tues-Thurs : Clinic hours can be included in the call shift as needed by the site.

  • Required Procedures / Job Duties :
  • Left and right heart caths
  • Coronary angioplasty / stents
  • Balloon pump / Impella
  • Transesophageal Echo
  • Pacemakers
  • TEE
  • Call : STEMI
  • EMR : EPIC
  • Support Staff : Echo Tech, Lab Tech, RN, X-ray Tech, Nuclear Tech
  • Reason for Coverage : Internal physician resigned.
  • EMR Training Requirements :
  • Complete modules before virtual EMR training.
  • Virtual EMR training must be completed before the provider s first day, available Mon-Fri.

    • Credentialing Information :

  • Timeframe : 60 days
  • Emergency Temp Privileges : Yes, able to start by July 16 with a clean malpractice / background.

  • Admissions per Day : 5
  • Types of Cases : Adult & Geriatric

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified Interventional Cardiology : Required
  • Active UT License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) : Required
  • Active BLS : Required
  • Active DEA : Required for credentialing (transferred DEA acceptable but must keep for the assignment duration).
  • EMR Training Acknowledgment : Must acknowledge understanding of EMR training requirements.
  • Shifts per Month Starting October : Must state number of shifts available.
  • Availability for Detailed Dates : Required for ongoing shifts.
  • Clean Malpractice / Background : Required for urgent July and mid-August shifts. Preferred but not required for shifts starting in September (must include NPDB Report).
