Support Staff : APP coverage typically 8a-12p, PA-C assistance in AM

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active PA License or IMLC

BC in Cardiology

DEA

ACLS, BLS

Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty

Proficiency with Epic and Cerner

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide IP & OP cardiology care

Cover weekday clinic, weeknight call, and / or 24-hr weekend call

Conduct IP rounding, consults, TEEs, cardioversions, and image readings

Proctor stress tests occasionally

Collaborate with APPs and PA-Cs for patient management

Respond to calls, with most handled via phone triage; rare in-person stat TEE for dissection
