Seeking a Full-Time, Board Certified, Virginia Licensed Psychiatrist for an inpatient staff psychiatrist position in Southwest Virginia. This unit provides a pivotal service to the community. The psychiatrist for this position will have a wide range of experience with inpatient psychiatric issues and should be comfortable with high acuity patients.

Schedule :

• Weekdays : MONDAY - FRIDAY (8 HOUR DAYS)
• CALL : 1-in-6 (Regional Call Model)
• Weekends : 1 Weekend Per Month of on-site rounding

Practice Details :

The unit accommodates twenty patients and contains a large multi-purpose treatment room, a group therapy room, a recreational therapy room, a kitchen, laundry room, offices and work area. The Center provides a wide range of therapeutic modalities to its patients, including :
