Responsibilities for a Physical Therapist :
- Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and create individualized treatment plans.
- Educate and guide patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercise routines.
- Accurately document patient progress and maintain current medical records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Deliver age-appropriate care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Qualifications for a Physical Therapist :
Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy with Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York or eligibility to obtain licensure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
