If you’re a credentialed veterinary technician (RVT, LVT, CVT — we know the alphabet soup) or an experienced tech who can place a catheter in your sleep and wrangle a bearded dragon with one eyebrow raised — we want to talk to you.

Androscoggin Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited, 9-doctor practice tucked away in Topsham, Maine — just close enough to Portland to get good coffee, but far enough that parking is still free. We’ve got the kind of team that actually likes each other (and means it), an ever-growing caseload that includes dogs, cats, pocket pets, and the occasional lizard with an attitude, and a leadership team that believes the words “work-life balance” shouldn’t be a punchline.

What you’ll do (besides become everyone’s favorite team member) :

Use your hard-earned skills — from surgery and dentistry to nursing care and client education

Work side-by-side with a collaborative team that values your input

Deliver Fear Free, gold-star-quality care to pets (and their nervous humans)

Rotate through a weekend schedule that won’t destroy your soul

Possibly hold a hedgehog wearing a tiny sock (no promises, but it’s happened)

Who you are :

✅ Credentialed tech (RVT, LVT, CVT) or an experienced rockstar in scrubs

✅ Fluent in multitasking, sarcasm, and gentle restraint

✅ Obsessed with learning new things and being useful

✅ Comfortable with both high-volume days and quiet lulls (rare, but sweet)

✅ You get it — vet med is a team sport
