The Sales Training Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of training programs for the pharmaceutical sales force. This position ensures that sales representatives are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to effectively promote products and comply with industry regulations. The role involves coordinating logistics, managing training content, and supporting the onboarding and continuous development of field sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for national and regional sales training programs, including onboarding, product launches, and ongoing development.
  • Schedule and manage training sessions, webinars, and workshops in collaboration with trainers and subject matter experts.
  • Maintain and update training records, certifications, and compliance documentation in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of training materials, including product information, sales tools, and regulatory content.
  • Track training attendance, completion rates, and feedback to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Support the onboarding process for new sales representatives, ensuring timely access to training resources and systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and compliance teams to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with corporate standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external training resources as needed.
  • Monitor training budgets and process related invoices and expenses.

Requires 1 day in the office (Tuesday) with training and sales team in Princeton.

Ability to travel with the training and sales team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Education, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical sales processes, compliance requirements, and industry terminology.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Veeva, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting field sales teams or commercial operations.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and digital training platforms.
  • The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $31.25 to $37.27 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
