Compensation : Hourly base pay rate is $14.71 - $22.12 / hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and / or an incentive program.

Job Description

• Inspect equipment daily, make minor adjustments, and request repairs in writing to the mechanic.
• Load, unload, re-arrange, and maneuver heavy duty forklift.
• Read stock numbers on a computer screen and verify the stock number and vehicle information (Make / Model, Color) directly from vehicle before loading onto forks.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Qualifications :

Work Environment :

Driving and maneuvering a forklift in difficult situations with light to heavy crowds and traffic. Load / unload in various weather conditions; potential to spend up to 50% of shift out of the cab and outdoors. Must be able to tolerate extreme weather conditions including rain and hot temperatures. Works in and around salvage vehicles which requires vigilance with regard to safety.
