We're looking for an experienced Commercial Tire Road Service Technician with an emphasis on creating results for teammates, customers and the company at our Lafyette location.
Full-Time : starting at $20 / hr, based upon experience for Commercial Tire Road Service Technician

What Youll Do as a Commercial Tire Road Service Technician :
For tires (functions performed per TIA Commercial guidelines) :
Operate heavy-duty service trucks and associated toolsRemove, install, rotate, and balance commercial tires both in the shop and at fleet locationEvaluate tire conditions to determine repair or replacement is neededProvide fleet inspections at the customers lot to make to make tire recommendations to keep their fleet running in optimal conditionPerform tire fleet service on-site to manage fleet tire specsPerform Emergency Road Service to repair / replace blown tiresPrepare paperwork on-site detailing what services were performed and submit to SalesEffectively communicate fleet needs with Service and SalesNight and weekend fleet work available (not required) for extra payEquipment :
Operate a heavy-duty tire service truckProperly maintain assigned service truck for preventive maintenance and appearanceRaise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacksSafely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to : safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and / or torque sticksOperate and maintain diagnostic equipmentYour Qualifications :
At least 18 years of ageValid driver's license requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentPositive attitude and the ability to relate well with other employees and customersWe offer a full work schedule Monday - Saturday (we close at noon on Saturday), and you'll be home on SundaysEmployer is an Equal Opportunity & Drug-Free Employer
