As a Security Officer - Unarmed Industrial Patrol in Macedonia, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and / or responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors within the manufacturing and industrial location. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to established protocols. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining awareness of all persons on site. Support Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required during incidents or emergency response activities. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
