LocumJobsOnline is working with Alumni Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Pediatrics MD in Allentown, Pennsylvania, 18101!

About The Position

Requirements  Any certifications required besides board certification in Peds Neurology? NoDescription of required duties :

Inpatient : Phone calls related to night / afterhours call see below daytime inpatient consults

Outpatient : Standard office practice work new and follow up visits Epic inbox messages patient calls etc.

Procedures required : EEG interpretation preferred

Supporting staff : Office administrative staff nurses

Schedule : Weekdays - Business Days 8-5 with an hour break for lunch. 2 hour block for inpatient rounds included in template. Phone calls for parent calls ED amp inpatient advice. Weekends – Inpatient consult rounds and new consults only EEG interpretation. Phone calls for parent calls ED amp inpatient advice.

Hours : See above

Call : Yes – 24 / 7 phone availability for parent ED inpatient advice.

Volume : 0-3 calls / night

On Call : Would need to round on inpatients on weekends

Assignment Length : 1 year continuous but flexible to desirable candidate availability.

Credentialing Credentialing process takes up to 90 days from submission for candidates with an active PA license. HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HTWS our managed service provider for locums sources for PA license and EPIC experience.
