POSITION PURPOSE
The Vendor Risk Analyst will be part of the Vendor Management Office. The Vendor Management Office is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Bank’s Third-Party Service Arrangements (Vendor Management) Program. In this role, the Vendor Risk Analyst will assist with the execution and maintenance of the program and activities related to management of third-party risks at the overall direction of the Vendor Risk Management Director. The Vendor Risk Analyst will need to bring strong critical thinking, initiative, and drive. This role will be responsible for supporting the Policy and Program by maintaining the vendors and contracts software platform, participating in risk assessments and vendor Ongoing Monitoring, monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as partnering with the various Business Units throughout the organization alongside the Vendor Risk Management Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Certification : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or 2 to 5 years of related experience and / or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience; work related experience should consist of an in-depth background in bank administration, compliance, and / or risk. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school, or related curriculum should be applicable to the financial industry.

Competency in supporting multi-discipline, high performance work teams.
Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing priorities and technology.
Knowledge of compliance, risk management including third-party risk management, and information technology issues in a working environment.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications and organizational. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and assist with procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to management, internal clients, and vendors.
Strong analytical skills and experience necessary. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Strategic thinking and ability to support analytical project and design processes.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Superior relationship-building skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation skills; ability to communicate, influence, persuade and gain confidence of peers and senior management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
