Job Title : Senior Microsoft 365 Migration Consultant

Location : Onsite Sugar Land, TX

Type : Contract-to-Hire (3 months initial contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Migration Consultant with strong Server Administration expertise to lead enterprise migration and infrastructure projects. This role requires hands-on technical skills, client-facing communication, and the ability to deliver complex migrations in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cutover, staged, and hybrid migrations across Microsoft 365 platforms including SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune .

Perform server administration, upgrades, and optimization in VMware, Hyper-V, and Windows Server environments.

Administer Microsoft 365 tenants including Entra ID / Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Intune .

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of user, license, and site management tasks.

Support Teams Voice / Telephony rollouts and implement coexistence strategies.

Deliver governance frameworks, adoption planning, and end-user training to ensure smooth transitions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 migrations and administration.

Strong Server Administration background with VMware, Hyper-V, and Windows Server .

Hands-on expertise with migration tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, and Metalogix .

Proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise migration projects .

Excellent client-facing communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
