Job Overview
The Solutions Analyst will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and implementing carrier performance reporting and analytics. The Solutions Analyst provides data-driven insights to support strategic solution designs, carrier sourcing, network optimization, and carrier relationship management. The Solutions Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments including Customer Management, Carrier Compliance, Pricing, Operations, Sales and Technology, as well as with external carrier partners to drive cost efficiency, service quality, and continuous improvement across the transportation network.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains advanced logistics analytics and reporting to measure network efficiency, carrier performance, and cost-to-serve metrics, transforming raw transportation data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Carrier Management, Pricing, Operations, Sales and Customer Management teams to design a wide range of logistics solutions based on customer RFP process and needs.
- Supports the Carrier Management team with RFP execution through data analytics and insights to drive efficient RFP processes and thorough carrier selection for customer business.
- Supports strategic decision-making through scenario modeling and data visualization, preparing executive-level reporting that articulates operational impacts, financial impacts, and solution recommendations for leadership.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing transportation trends, benchmarking performance across carriers and modes, and recommending process or system enhancements to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
1-3+ years of truckload or brokerage experience preferred with operations, sales, logistics procurement or pricing backgroundMust demonstrate strong skills in the following :Microsoft OfficeData AnalyticsExperience with implementing and improving processes and proceduresMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (4 years)Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experiencePreferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalentWork Environment
