Who We Are :

Abe Brown Ministries (ABM) is a non-profit, Faith-based organization that has been in operation for more than 45 years. The inspHire Program is responsible for providing job placement and other support services for individuals with a lived incarceration experience, regardless of their religious preference, who are being released to Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk and Pasco counties or an ex-offender referred to Abe Brown Ministries.

We are looking for Re-Entry inspHire Program Career Coach whose responsibilities include managing the end-to-end client placement process within ABM Re-Entry Program. The Career Coach will assist clients with applying the key topics learned in career development to real world work situations, professional goal-setting and long-term workplace success strategies.

Job Duties :

Meet with client during Professional Development classes to determine potential or realized job skills that will assist in preparing a forecast report used to match jobs in the ETO database.

Conduct weekly meetings with internal Business Development Manager to discuss client readiness and potential employment opportunities.

Develop and understand the business needs of the community and assist employers in understanding the value the ex-offender population can add to the workplace.

Stay abreast of federal laws and state legislation, and county initiatives that advocate for the ex-offender population.

Qualifications :

certified Career Coach while employed for ABM.
