Position : RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)\nShift : Days | 4x10 hrs (06 : 15–16 : 45)\nFacility : [Not specified – likely hospital setting]\nStart Date : ASAP\nDuration : 13 weeks\nJob Details : \n\n\nRatios : 1 : 1\n\n\nCall : ~14 call days per 6 weeks (2 days / week + every 3rd weekend)\n\n\nFloat : To Main OR if CVOR volume is low\n\n\nWeekend : Call every 3rd weekend\n\n\nOrientation : 24 hours\n\n\nScrubs : Blue (provided)\n\n\nRequirements : \n\n\nExperience : 2+ years (CVOR required)\n\n\nCertifications : BLS (ACLS preferred)\n\n\nTraveler Experience : Not required\n\n\nLocals : Accepted\n\n\nSkills : CVOR, cardiac case scrubbing preferred (CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, ECMO, Impella, etc.)\n\n\nSystems Used : \n\n\nMedication : Pyxis\n\n\nCharting : Epic\n\n\nCommunication : SBAR\n\n\nAdditional Notes : \n\n\nNo RTO after booking (any call-offs may result in cancellation / DNR)\n\n\nMay be assigned to Storm or Hurricane Team during emergencies\n\n\nPossible consolidation to centralized office mid- contract\n\n\nSummary : \nCVOR RN needed for high-acuity cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacements, ECMO, and TAVR. Requires strong cardiac OR skills, flexibility with call, and adherence to strict attendance policies.
