  • Healthcare Setting : Operating Room, 19 OR suites\n
  • Employment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment\n
  • Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 09 / 02 / 2025 – End : 11 / 29 / 2025)\n
  • Nursing Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed)\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470–$1570\n
  • Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend\n
  • Call Requirement : Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule (45-minute response time)\n
  • Holiday Coverage : Travelers work 75% of holidays\n
  • Scrub Color : Provided\n
  • Parking : Free onsite parking\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 5 years of recent Operating Room RN experience\n
  • Active North Carolina RN license or compact state nursing license\n
  • BLS certification required\n
  • CNOR certification preferred\n
  • Proven experience in multiple surgical specialties : Trauma, Orthopedics, Spine, Cardiac, Vascular, GYN, Robotics, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Plastics\n
  • Ability to respond to call shifts within 45 minutes\n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills\n
  • First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position\n

    • \n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care during surgical procedures\n
  • Assist with a broad range of surgeries, including trauma, ortho, spine, cardiac, GYN, robotics, and more\n
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper use of operating room equipment\n
  • Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing clinical education\n
  • Follow facility protocols and contribute to a positive operating room culture\n
  • Participate in weekend rotations, call shifts, and holiday coverage as scheduled\n
