Mitigation Technician

Primary purpose of the role : The Mitigation Technician is an essential member of the operations team. The mitigation technician will be primarily responsible for water extraction and for the cleanup / demolition phase of residential homes or commercial businesses that have experienced water, fire, mold or other damage.

Job Requirements

• Understand the operation of drying & restoration equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filtered equipment, and other remediation equipment.
• Perform water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire damage mitigation according to IICRC guidelines.
• Have basic construction knowledge and be familiar with using basic hand tools and hand held power tools.
• Basic labor tasks, such as demolition and removal of debris.
• Must have valid drivers license, good driving record, and ability to drive vans and large cube trucks.
• Reliable transportation to and from our office.
• Must pass background check and / or drug test.
• General work hours from 8am to 5pm, nights & weekends as required by work flow.
• Must participate on company on-call schedule.
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and work ethic.
• Complete project related paperwork and document projects as required.

Working Conditions

Work is generally performed in residential homes, commercial businesses, and / or municipal buildings throughout Western NC. Occasionally projects will require working in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, dusty, wet, or other adverse conditions.

Compensation : $17.00 - $22.00 per hour.
