Must-Have :

Must have arrhythmia certification and experience with post-surgical cardiovascular patients.

Cardiac drips and insulin drip experience is required.

Epic experience preferred.

Description :

The position requires floating to different units based on staffing needs.

All staff must float to other units per request due to census considerations.

Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have documented competencies.

Charting will be done using the Epic system.

Daily patient ratios are typically 4 patients per nurse.

The unit cares for adults and geriatric patients with various diagnoses.

Key responsibilities include blood product administration and management of cardiac telemetry patients.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential.

The expected daily census for the unit is 31 patients.

A strong emphasis on patient care and safety is required.
