What You’ll Do

• Lead system architecture & safety strategy : Design and refine system‑level requirements that meet the highest standards of functional safety, including ISO 26262 compliance for ASIL‑rated systems.
• Own the safety lifecycle : Author and manage key work products such as the Safety Plan, HARA, Functional Safety Concept (FSC), and Technical Safety Concept (TSC), ensuring alignment with internal design teams and external assessors.
• Champion traceability & verification : Maintain complete end‑to‑end traceability from requirements through design, implementation, and testing to guarantee safe and consistent performance.
• Automate intelligently : Use Python and modern AI‑driven tools to simplify documentation, automate verification workflows, and perform data‑driven analyses that enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally : Partner with hardware, software, and firmware teams to translate system goals into actionable requirements and ensure seamless integration across all components.
• Manage engineering data with precision : Organize and maintain system artifacts, design data, and documentation within robust version control environments such as Git.
• Deliver validated excellence : Define and execute verification and validation strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and safety‑critical requirements.
• Drive proven success : Play a pivotal role in shipping sensor‑based systems—such as radar, lidar, or vision modules—that have achieved ISO 26262 ASIL‑B certification or equivalent safety standards.
