LendKoi is a fintech on a mission to make credit fair and accessible for immigrants, expats, and those with little or no U.S. credit history. We’re looking for a star Head of Engineering to build our platform and share our mission.

This is a unique opportunity to work on an impactful product, build AI-powered features & workflows, and natively blend stablecoin experiences with real-world banking, credit, and payments services for consumers. This role will grow into a full-time position. You’ll bring strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for building robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. You’ll design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components, working closely with our product team and vendor partners.

The compensation for this role is pay + equity.

Flexible New York City hybrid – occasional in-office, as needed.

• Qualifications
• Technical leadership experience : VP of engineering, CTO, solutions architect, staff software engineer, or lead full-stack developer.
• 6+ years of full-stack experience, including with consumer applications.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, Python and Django, including the Django REST framework.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Elastic Beanstalk).
• Strong familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Strong command of AI coding tools with disciplined verification and data-privacy guardrails.
• A deep understanding of code versioning tools like Git and best practices for repository management.
• Excellent documentation skills and a commitment to maintaining organized, understandable code.
• Curiosity about fintech + empathy for users (you are passionate about building technology that solves real-world financial challenges).
• Comfortable in a lean, early-stage environment with high ownership.
