Underwriting Support Analyst

A company is looking for an Underwriting Support Analyst to assist with various underwriting responsibilities and support the underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities

Review and process mortgage insurance requests and reconcile reports with partners

Perform second level reviews on denied loans and ensure compliance with ECOA and FNMA guidelines

Order and follow up on Collateral Desktop Analysis reports and manage Downpayment Assistance Programs

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

Two years of residential loan underwriting experience

DE or SAR certifications preferred

Detailed knowledge of Agency and Non-Agency underwriting guidelines

Advanced ability to make risk-based lending decisions
