Phlebotomist Support Specialist

Join our dynamic Lab team as a full-time Phlebotomist Support Specialist !

• This exciting position offers up to a $1,000.00 recruitment / retention bonus.

This role entails a 40-hour work week with Monday-Friday varying day shifts . Please note that travel to multiple draw stations is required.

Locations include :

Troy

Clifton Park

Delmar

Latham

Niskayuna

Albany

Key Responsibilities :

Collect specimens and provide essential back-up support.

Perform venipunctures, protimes, and strep tests.

Process and prepare specimens for transportation to the lab.

Communicate lab results to patients via an automated voicemail system.

Order and manage medical supply inventory.

Handle patient cancellations and rescheduling as needed.

Accurately document information into patient records in a timely manner.

Ensure a smooth patient flow during services.

Stay updated on company policies and procedures through staff meetings and ongoing communication.

Address any patient concerns or complaints by notifying the Site Manager.

Compensation : $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
