Compensation : The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $61,000.00 to $101,600.00.

Position Details :
As the Government Account Manager (GAM) you will penetrate assigned accounts and develop relationships to achieve profitable revenue growth within your assigned geography in the Huntsville area. The GAM partners with sales support, service teams and contract owner(s) to grow sales in our largest local government, higher education, primary education or federal customers. The variable compensation is tied to the established sales targets and other account management responsibilities. You will report to the District Sales Manager for Government.
You Will :
Understand customer goals and remain alert and responsive to changing customer needsDemonstrate knowledge of market data and access to resources to quickly respond to new developments in the customer's businessResponsible for support of managed inventory tasks to lead greater understanding of the customers, increase contacts within the customer group and increase sales results.Understand Grainger's Value Proposition and explain to customers, providing solutions to grow profitable salesEstablish customer and market priorities to execute a strategic course of action to accomplish sales goalsDevelop and implement account strategies to include regular business reviews for customers to maximize salesDemonstrate full compliance to company sales and pricing guidelinesUse all resources and technical support availableDocument, analyze, and understand impact of customer focused activities to increase productivity and sales within assigned marketYou Have :
