AV Project Engineer

This is a hybrid position with

• approximately 50% travel across the U.S.
• , supporting installations, testing, and client-facing coordination. All travel expenses are covered.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Lead AV system implementations from planning through deployment
• Perform hands-on
• integration and commissioning
• of AV systems
• Coordinate installation teams and ensure project milestones are met
• Review and validate AV system schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Provide technical leadership on AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC, etc.)
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure seamless AV integration
• Conduct site visits for system testing, troubleshooting, and client handovers
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with AV industry standards
• Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
• Stay current with AV-over-IP technologies and emerging platforms

• Strong experience in AV service delivery, integration, and commissioning
• Hands-on experience with AV control systems and IP-based AV solutions
• Experience working in
• corporate AV environments
• (e.g., conference rooms, executive spaces, collaboration areas)
• Prior experience in a project engineering or technical management role
• Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in dynamic environments
• Nice-to-Have Skills :
• Experience with AV system design and layout
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools
• Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings
• Familiarity with building automation systems and AV-over-IP platforms
• Certifications (Encouraged but Not Required) :
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
• CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist - Design)
• Audiovisual Network Professional Certification

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00 / hr.
