Looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and experience in the manufacturing industry? We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Permanent Quality Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on improving and maintaining the quality of our products and processes. You will be working closely with the manufacturing team and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the highest standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for :
1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems in compliance with ISO9001 standards.
2. Conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
3. Utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and enhance product quality.
4. Using statistical software such as Minitab to analyze data and make informed decisions.
5. Implementing and managing Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to monitor and control process performance.
6. Participating in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Providing technical guidance and training to the manufacturing team on quality standards and procedures.
9. Reviewing and approving quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Quality Engineer position should possess the following :
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge and experience with ISO9001, Aerospace standards, CAPA, Six Sigma, Minitab, and SPC systems.
4. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certification would be an advantage.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.
8. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
9. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering.
