Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 3 for Butler Hospital, located in Providence, RI. The manager oversees the foodservice operation at this location, including a team of about 40 frontline unionized hospital employees, providing for retail, patients, and catering as needed. The hours for this role will be primarily daytime, however the individual in this role will need the flexibility to be able to work rotational weekend coverage as needed.

Butler Hospital is the state's only non-profit, free-standing psychiatric hospital providing adults, seniors and adolescents specialized assessment and treatment for all major psychiatric illnesses and substance abuse. It is a teaching facility, affiliated with Brown University and is a unionized environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of hourly employees by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring daily operations in the kitchen and retail cafe areas
• Oversee catering deliveries and set ups and assist with ordering as needed
• Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff members
• Utilize Sodexo resources, recipes, systems and use of catering and retail programs efficiently
