Position Summary
The Legal Counsel position is a junior attorney role focused on supporting all aspects of the work of the General Counsel’s office / function. Under supervision of the General Counsel and other members of the in-house legal team, the Legal Counsel will have responsibility for supporting a broad range of transactional matters, including in some or all of the following areas : public company disclosures, securities offerings, secured financing, mergers and acquisitions, mortgage / consumer regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Following initial training, the Legal Counsel will be directly responsible for corporate entity administration, administration of corporate policies and procedures, contract administration, standard forms, and compliance with privacy-related statutes and regulations.

A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role is $100,000-$115,000. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors.
