Job descriptionWork in an acute care hospital setting within the Interventional Radiology (IR) department Level 1 trauma center environment Single IR suite with diagnostics, embolizations, carotid stents, and thrombectomy procedures Collaborative team environment including neuro IR techs and a charge nurse present on each shift Uses Epic EMR and Siemens Artis Icono equipment Day shifts, 4x10s Monday through Friday, 7 : 30am–4 : 30pm with cyclic scheduling Required to take 10–13 call shifts per month including weekends and holidays Float within Radiology as needed and potentially to other locations during scheduled shifts (IV starts, transport, file room coverage, and stroke / IR cases at other campuses) Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including neurological interventions Provide patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during procedures Must be flexible and reliable with strong interpersonal and professional skills Mandatory participation in call rotation May be floated within Radiology and to affiliated campuses as needed Up to 7 days of requested time off are permitted per 13-week contract, submitted upfront; no additional RTO will be approved Business casual or department-specific dress code may apply; refer to fingernail policy for compliance Two weeks of unit-specific orientation provided including hands-on and open book exams Candidates must submit two references, one from a supervisor within the last 12 months, and one supervisor or peer reference from the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility Active NE or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted Minimum of 2 years recent experience in IR, ICU, or ER is required Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required; PALS preferred Experience with Epic EMR preferred Driver's license required for verification of distance from facility Must live at least 50 miles from the facility Cannot currently be or have been employed in any capacity by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities in the past year Ability to pass a department-specific open book skills exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care settings High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
