Lead Sourcing Specialist - Buying / Procurement

The Lead Sourcing Specialist - Buying / Procurement will play a critical role in driving sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of high-quality materials and services to support GE Aerospace's operations. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement process for assigned commodities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to meet production schedules.
- Manage purchase orders, supplier agreements, and contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with GE Aerospace's quality and delivery standards.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, alternative sourcing strategies, and value engineering.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve cost reduction targets while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proactively address supply chain disruptions and implement contingency plans.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with GE Aerospace's policies, ethical standards, and export control regulations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 8 years of experience in sourcing).A minimum of 4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.Additional Information
