Travel Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray

Location : Pittsfield, MA

Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Schedule : 16-hour Day Shifts, Saturday & Sunday

Shift Times : 7 : 00 AM – 11 : 30 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours / week

On-Call : None

Weekends / Holidays : Weekend shifts required, holiday coverage as needed

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Pittsfield, MA is seeking an experienced Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality patient care. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of X-ray procedures using independent judgment and technical accuracy

Apply appropriate skills to support diagnostic results

Operate CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems; troubleshoot as needed

Maintain proper patient positioning and radiation safety standards

Follow infection control and OSHA standards

Ensure patient confidentiality and professional conduct

Participate in departmental competencies and mandatory education

May provide supervision or instruction as assigned by Lead Technologist or Operations Manager

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Radiology experience

1 year of recent X-Ray experience required

ARRT (R) certification – Required

BLS – Required (AHA preferred)

Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Must be willing to work weekends

Excellent patient care, communication, and critical thinking skills
