Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in outpatient clinic setting and a strong background in pediatrics. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, providing early intervention services, and collaborating with families and interdisciplinary team to support each child's communication needs.

• Duties
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
• Implement speech therapy interventions tailored for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for children.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Educate families on strategies to support their child's communication development at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress in compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Skills
• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech and language functions.
• Proficiency in patient care techniques specific to pediatric populations.
• Familiarity with early intervention strategies for young children with communication disorders.
• Ability to assess patients effectively using standardized tests and observational methods.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.

Pay : $41.53 - $55.00 per hour
