Job Description : Position Details :

• CDL A Delivery Driver position
• Annual pay averaging $83,500
• Typical schedule : Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Average 10-12 hours per day. Potential for occasional overnight shifts.

Position Purpose :

As a CDL A Delivery Driver, you play an essential role in the food supply chain. Your responsibilities include ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers while building lasting relationships. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver and unload food products safely and efficiently while complying with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Primary Responsibilities :

Engage professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring inquiries are addressed timely.

Work collaboratively within the team to fulfill company objectives.

Perform pre / post trip safety checks, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Report safety issues and take necessary action as required.

Adhere to all DOT regulations and company driving policies.

Conduct inspections to ensure freight is loaded securely and safely.

Accurately complete and maintain necessary paperwork related to deliveries.

Drive to deliver customer orders following a predetermined route.

Unload products at customer locations, managing storage and damaged goods appropriately.

Verify deliveries with customers, collecting signatures and payment when necessary.

Manage returns and ensure all equipment is secured at the end of the shift.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tractor and loading areas as required.
