Job descriptionMust hold avalid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Minimum of 1 to 2 years of verifiable driving experience(preferred). Clean driving recordwith no major violations, suspensions, or DUIs within the past 3 years. Must be able topass a DOT physical and drug / alcohol screening. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliancerequirements. Ability tooperate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently. Must be able tolift, push, or pull up to 75lbsas part of loading / unloading duties (if applicable). Strong communication skills must speak and understand English (bilingual a plus English / Spanish). Must bepunctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hoursas required. Must haveauthorization to work in the United States. Delivering frozen seafood products to restaurants. Driving company owned trucks. Unload product using equipment like lift gates, hand truck, ramps, etc. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel receipts, and complete necessary paperwork. Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as refueling, checking fluids, and reporting mechanical issues. Communicate with dispatcher, customers, and other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations. Interact with customers in a professional manner, providing excellent service and ensuring timely deliveries. Adhere to all applicable truck driving rules and regulations, including federal and state requirements. Meet physical and mental requirements for driving a commercial vehicle, including good eyesight, hearing, and physical health. Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions. Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS. Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log. Communicate clearly with customers and food service employees, demonstrating an eagerness to work through any issues or points of confusion.
