Inventory Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly skilled CONTRACT Inventory Analyst to support an urgent project focused on analyzing and reconciling inventory between their 3PL provider and internal SAP system. This role will play a critical part in identifying discrepancies, improving accuracy, and supporting operational decisions related to warehousing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, reconcile, and validate inventory between SAP and the company’s 3PL warehouse systems.
• Investigate discrepancies in inventory levels, locations, and movements; provide solutions or corrective actions.
• Work closely with the 3PL provider to understand storage, handling, and reporting processes.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets using advanced Excel skills to support inventory accuracy.
• Utilize SAP and WMS tools to track, monitor, and update inventory data.
• Provide detailed reporting on findings, trends, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance via Outlook and Teams.
• Support ongoing inventory projects and assist with audits as needed.
