Our client is seeking a highly skilled CONTRACT Inventory Analyst to support an urgent project focused on analyzing and reconciling inventory between their 3PL provider and internal SAP system. This role will play a critical part in identifying discrepancies, improving accuracy, and supporting operational decisions related to warehousing and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, reconcile, and validate inventory between SAP and the company’s 3PL warehouse systems.
- Investigate discrepancies in inventory levels, locations, and movements; provide solutions or corrective actions.
- Work closely with the 3PL provider to understand storage, handling, and reporting processes.
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets using advanced Excel skills to support inventory accuracy.
- Utilize SAP and WMS tools to track, monitor, and update inventory data.
- Provide detailed reporting on findings, trends, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance via Outlook and Teams.
- Support ongoing inventory projects and assist with audits as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
SAP : Strong hands-on experience with inventory modules.WMS : Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.Excel : Advanced capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).Communication Tools : Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Teams.Experience working with 3PL providers and understanding of warehouse inventory processes.Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
