The Physician Assistant performs the role utilizing the patient-centered coordinated care model demonstrated through the following competencies : leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation / collaboration, coaching / guiding, research, and ethical decision making. Works collaboratively with other members of the practice / hospital team to assess, plan and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. 24 / 7 Coverage model for Cardiac Care ICU at JSUMC.

The Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.

• 24 / 7 Flex Coverage for Cardiac Care Inpatient Unit
• Flexible shifts (12-13 hrs or 8 hours)

COMPENSATION :

Starting Base Salary : $117,395.20 Annually
