Position : Nurse Practitioner, NP - Hospitalist Consult Liaison - Inpatient Psychiatric Unit

Shift : Full Time, 40 hours / week. 4-10 hour day shifts, 7a-5p with 1 weekend requirement per month

Experience :

1. 2 years Nurse Practitioner experience preferred

2. 1 year Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner experienced required

3. Minimum of 2 years experience (Nursing or Nurse Practitioner) working with Psychiatric patients required.

Education :

1. Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.

2. MSN Required.

Licensures / Certifications :

1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.

2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc / American Red Cross) required.

3. Require ACLS certification.

4. May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).

5. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
