Join Our Compassionate Healthcare Team as a Speech Language Pathologist!

Key Responsibilities :

Resident Evaluation & Treatment Planning :  Assess residents' speech and language needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Activity Selection :  Design activities that help residents improve independence in their daily activities.

Progress Monitoring :  Observe and assess resident performance, adjusting treatments as necessary, and preparing detailed progress reports.

Rehabilitation Support :  Assist in the rehabilitation of residents affected by injury, illness, or other conditions.

Maintain a Safe Environment :  Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Confidentiality :  Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the secure handling of confidential information.

Documentation :  Keep accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress, auditing department records as necessary.

Team Collaboration :  Work closely with healthcare teams to contribute to a cooperative and supportive team environment.

Requirements

Education : Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program.

Licensing : Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist License.

Experience : Prior experience is preferred, but not required.
