Safety Manager Construction
About the Role :
We are seeking a Safety Manager with proven experience in the construction industry to lead, implement, and support safety policies, field compliance, and risk-prevention initiatives across our projects.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations
- Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents, prepare documentation, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain safety records, reporting, and tracking in Excel
- Partner with field leadership, crews, and management to drive a safety culture
- Support regulatory requirements and workers compensation processes
What Were Looking For :
Experience in the construction industryStrong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety complianceOSHA 30-hour certification (required) focused on identifying and preventing workplace hazardsAbility to manage and analyze information in ExcelExcellent communication and leadership skillsBilingual (English / Spanish) preferredCSP certification not required, but a plusPreferred Certifications (Not Required) :
CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) focused specifically on construction safety and a strong fit for Safety Manager or advancement rolesCSHO (Certified Safety and Health Official) focused on safety regulations, compliance, and safety program management; a strong qualification for a Safety ManagerCSP(Certified Safety Professional) advanced safety certification; strong qualification for safety leadershipJMHC offers a great work atmosphere and strong benefits, including :
