Job Description :
As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and successful execution of multifamily projects from groundbreaking through completion. Your role will include ensuring quality standards, controlling budgets, and managing timelines. You will collaborate closely with architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver multifamily projects that meet both client and company expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all phases of multifamily construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and adjusting plans as necessary to stay on target.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and timelines, proactively addressing any variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards, conducting regular site visits and inspections.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress, timelines, and any changes to scope.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring work aligns with project specifications, schedules, and budget constraints.
- Prepare and submit reports, including project progress, budget tracking, and safety updates, to senior management.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in ground-up multifamily construction.Demonstrated experience managing large-scale multifamily projects, including high-density apartment complexes, mixed-use developments, or condominiums.Strong understanding of construction best practices, project management methodologies, and building codes.Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project) and scheduling tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Familiarity with green building standards, sustainability initiatives, or LEED certification is a plus.Proven track record in managing projects that prioritize community-focused design and sustainable construction practices.Benefits :
