Responsibilities
Provides personalized, professional customer service experiences by building trust, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to offer additional products that meet customer needs.Responds to customer inquiries regarding coverages, billing, claims, or products by following established agency processes and procedures, while proactively recommending solutions and cross-selling appropriate insurance products.Drives customer satisfaction by following J.D. Powers best practices : Personal Insurance Review, rate revision notification, and claims process, and by presenting relevant coverage options during customer interactions.Processes changes to existing accounts and policies, ensuring accuracy and looking for opportunities to enhance coverage through additional products.Serves as a liaison on behalf of the customer between the agency and various business partners, advocating for customer needs and introducing new products and services.Assists customers with claims by directing them to the appropriate Claims Department contacts and resources, following up to ensure customer needs are addressed, and discussing coverage enhancements where appropriate.Schedules appointments with existing or prospective customers for agency employees, including opportunities for insurance reviews and product consultations.Actively identifies customer needs and recommends appropriate insurance solutions, including auto, home, life, and specialty products.Participates in outbound call campaigns to generate new business, follow up on leads, and promote agency products and services.Achieves individual and agency sales goals by cross-selling and upselling products to existing and prospective customers.Maintains knowledge of agency products, promotions, and marketing initiatives to effectively present options to customers.Qualifications
Demonstrated customer service experience, with a passion for helping others and building relationships.Effective communication skills, including the ability to actively listen, explain products clearly, and engage customers in meaningful conversations.Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, and other web-based tools).Solid knowledge and understanding of basic mathematical skills for quoting, billing, and policy calculations.Proven ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Previous sales experience or a willingness to learn sales techniques is a plus
