Purchasing Assistant (Part-Time, Contract)

? Location : Manchester, MI (On-site)
? Contract Length : 6 months (potential for extension)
? Start Date : ASAP
? Schedule : Part-time – 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 10 : 00am–2 : 00pm
? Pay Rate : $24 / hour

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement team with the timely and accurate creation and amendment of purchase orders (POs) in SAP .

Key Responsibilities

Create and amend purchase orders in SAP following company guidelines and department input.

Ensure accuracy of PO details, confirming alignment with supplier quotes and terms.

Maintain clear documentation and centralized records for all POs created.

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

Prior hands-on experience using SAP

Experience with PO creation / modification preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
