Overview

Field Applications Engineer - FPGA at Arrow Components. Work arrangement : Fully Remote TX but must be able to come to the Dallas or Austin branch on Monday mornings.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with the Arrow sales teams in local branches across your assigned region in pre- and post-sales activities. Provide technical support and consulting for FPGA-based designs to promote demand creation.
• Work with customers to develop a thorough understanding of their design requirements at both a system and component level.
• Attend supplier trainings in-person and via conference calls. Demonstrate an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of supplier technologies and how those technologies relate to market needs.
• Provide training to Arrow sales teams on new products and help market these products to the appropriate customers.
• Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders up to date on activities, plans, and progress towards initiatives.
• Manage top opportunities and opportunity funnel in assigned region.
• Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews.
• Help plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars.
• Prepare and give sales presentations to customers.
• Meet with customers both on-site and virtually.
• Work independently; receive minimal guidance.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Quickly build influential relationships with customers, suppliers, and the Arrow sales team.
• This job profile requires participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of On-Target Earnings will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow.
