Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 3 NICU position in New York requiring a NY RN license and advanced neonatal certifications.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a Level 3 NICU within a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital

Variable day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM, including every other weekend

Care for critically ill neonates in a specialized NICU environment

Cerner EMR is used; Cerner competence is preferred

Provide critical care and monitoring to a neonatal patient population, including advanced neonatal procedures

Team-based care with support in a teaching hospital environment

Completion of required online learning modules prior to the start date is mandatory

Local candidates are eligible with a reduced rate if living within 60 miles

Candidates with prior employment at the health system may require an eligibility review process

Requirements

Active NY RN license required

Minimum of 3 years of recent Level 3 NICU experience

Current AHA certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP

S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Two recent professional references from a manager or higher in the specialty required
