No floating to other departments\n\n📋 Unit Info\nUnit Type : Emergency Department\n\nBeds : 9 rooms\n\nVolume : ~30 patients per 24-hour period\n\nNurse-to-Patient Ratio : Varies depending on acuity\n\nCharting System : EPIC\n\nOther Systems : Pyxis, Hospira pumps, Phillips monitoring\n\n📅 Schedule\nShift : 5 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 AM (12-hour nights)\n\nSchedule : 3x12s per week\n\nWeekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n\nStart Date Target : May 28 – this will be the RN’s first shift on the unit\n\n🧠 Orientation & Training\nEPIC training, etc.\n\nSchedule : \n\nWeek 1 : Monday–Friday (8-hour days)\n\nWeek 2 : Monday–Tuesday (8-hour days)\n\nMandatory Attendance : All 7 days of orientation are required\n\n✅ Required Skills & Experience\nMinimum 2 years of recent ED experience\n\nEPIC documentation experience preferred\n\n📑 Required Certifications\nBLS / CPR (AHA)\n\nACLS (AHA)\n\nPALS\n\nTNCC & ENPC – preferred but not required
